GULLY CRICKET (Street cricket)
It is no surprise that ‘cricket’ is more than just a game in India.Right from their schooling days, kids are part of the game in a form which exists in every lane of the country,Gully cricket.Here gullies or narrow lanes or roads are easily converted into unconventional stadiums.
RULES OF COMPETITION :
No. Of participants: 4 (3 boys and 1 girl)
Match would be of 4 overs (3 balls per over).
At least one over should be bowled by a girl.
Game will be played by lawn tennis ball.
Runs will only be granted by running between the wickets and by fours.
Sixes will be granted out.
WHY GULLY CRICKET:
Every cricketer in India is exposed to this form in some manner.
You meet new people and enlarge your friend circle.
You learn teamwork and making strategy.
And as we all know playing sports makes you healthier.
