ABHIVYAKTI (Nukkad natak)

Street theater or Nukkad Natak is a form of theatrical performance and presentation in outdoor public spaces.Street play is more of a louder variant of theater. Unlike stage play there is no fix story-line. Actors showcase random scenes elucidating different aspects and point of views on a particular topic.Music is performed live and nothing is pre-recorded.

RULES OF COMPETITION :

·       No. Of participants: 4-6
·       Time limit: 6 minutes.
·       Theme will be disclosed 7 days prior to the event.
·       Plays can either be in Hindi or in English.
·       Usage of abusive language is strictly prohibited
·       No technical support will be provided by the host.

WHY ABHIVYAKTI:

Aim of Nukkad Natak is to spread awareness among common people about the vices prevalent in the society.Actors who participate in Nukkad Natak can polish their performing skills,can do experiment with the performance spaces or can promote their ideas to bring change in society.

AVYAKT  (ARITHMETIC PUZZLES) Arithmetic is a branch of Mathematics.We call arithmetic-”Art of Numbers”.The fundamental operations (addition,subtraction,mult iplication and division)were first devised by Brahmagupta of India.Here in this event AVYAKT in  Ashwamedha you have to use your mathematics skills to solve the given puzzle/problem.Explore the hidden mathematician inside you.All are expecting ma ny more Brahmagupta from this generation of India. RULES OF COMPETITION: Number of participants : 2 Event comprises of two rounds. First round will be arithmetic relay in which both participants work together. Second round will be one on one round. ANUVARTANI (Spell Bee)   ANUVARTANI is the event where contestants are asked to spell a broad selection of words,usually with a varying degree of difficulty.The winning team is determined by the score of each team. RULES OF COMPETITION : No. of Participant: 2 There will be two rounds. Once the spelling is spelled by any member of the team,it will be taken as final. WHY ANUVARTANI: Of course it tightens your grip on english language.In this competitive environment you can improve your alertness,presence of mind and quick decision making skills.The valuable learning outcome of spell bee results in the participants gaining competency over vocabulary and this allows them to excel at reading and writing. A spelling bee helps them gain the confidence they need to speak in public and accept their mistakes, while also getting the applause,their hard work deserves.
